Prof Neeta Inamdar has chaired the first Dr Ambedkar Memorial Lecture on the theme Reparative Epistemology: Rethinking Education for Social Justice, by providing her valuable insights on the dual nature of education as both an idea and a system. Secondly, during the National Conference on Reimagining Educational Equality: Contemporary Application of Dr Ambedkar’s Educational Philosophy, she had also Chaired a book discussion on “Cultures of Learning: Mapping the New Spaces of Critical Pedagogy in India,” edited by Dr Suresh Babu G S and Arunima Naithani from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.

Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts (SSLA)

SCHERPA has been a part of the team that designed the curriculum for a specialized Major in Education being offered to the students of the BA Liberal Arts at Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts (SSLA).

Symbiosis Teaching Learning Research Centre (STLRC)

The team at SCHERPA has designed a five-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Higher Education Policy and Practice, along with the team at STLRC, which organizes regular faculty development programs. This particular five-day FDP is aimed at creating awareness about various policies of the Government of India post NEP 2020 that have direct implications for higher education institutions across the country. This has been designed in cognizance of the fact that many academic leaders remain unaware of these developments, thus hindering the process of implementation.

India Higher Education Research Network (IHERN)

Prof Neeta Inamdar is a recipient of the IHERN Fellowship for 2025-27. She is actively working with IHERN, that acts as a platform to bring together researchers from various academic institutions across India for strengthening the higher education research capabilities. This collaboration aims to generate impactful research that informs policy-making and academic governance.
